Page facts for kids
A page can mean a few different things, depending on what you're talking about!
It can be a physical sheet of paper, like the ones you find in a book, magazine, or newspaper. If it's not part of a book, we often just call it a sheet or piece of paper.

Pages on Computers and the Internet
When we talk about computers, a page often means a "webpage". This is a piece of information you see on a computer monitor or phone screen. It's not made of paper, but it's like a digital page.
Webpages vs. Printed Pages
You can print a webpage to make a real paper copy. However, a webpage can be much longer than one printed page. Also, you can change a webpage, but you can't change a printed copy once it's made. So, a webpage is not always the same as its printed version.
People Called Pages
A page can also be a young person, usually a boy or young man, who helps someone by carrying things or doing small jobs. Another name for this role is a pageboy. You might see pages helping in government buildings or at special events.
To Page Someone
To page someone means to contact them using a pager. A pager is a small electronic device that makes a sound or shows a message to someone. People used pagers to call someone for a specific reason, like asking them to come somewhere or to get in touch. Pagers were very common before mobile phones became popular.
