Early Life and Education

Palmer Wapau went to school at St. Teresa's College, Abergowrie. This is where he got his education.

Rugby League Career

Palmer Wapau was a very skilled player, especially as a forward. A "forward" is a type of player in rugby league who usually plays in the middle of the field and helps with tackling and running the ball.

In 2007, he showed his talent by playing as a five-eighth in the Queensland Cup. This is a big competition in Queensland. He had an ankle injury that made it harder for him to join the NRL sooner.

Palmer made his first appearance in the NRL in 2009. This was during round 7 of the 2009 NRL season. He played against the Parramatta Eels. He joined the team as a replacement player for another Broncos player, David Taylor.

A former teammate and friend from school, Matt Bowen, who played for the North Queensland Cowboys, once said something special about Palmer. Before Palmer joined the NRL, Matt said that Palmer was the best player who hadn't played in the NRL yet.

Palmer's last game in the NRL was against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. His team, the Broncos, lost that game 46-12 at Shark Park.
