María Paloma Adrados Gautier (born 16 April 1957) is a Spanish politician. She is a member of the People's Party. From 2011 to 2015, she served as the mayor of Pozuelo de Alarcón, a city in Spain. After that, she became the president of the Madrid Assembly until 2019. She then took on the role of First Deputy President.

Early Life and Career
Paloma Adrados studied Law at university. After finishing her studies, she started working at the CEOE. This is a large organization for businesses in Spain. She was in charge of international labor relations. This means she helped with rules and agreements about work between different countries.
Later, she worked as a consultant for the International Labour Organization. This is a part of the United Nations that deals with work issues worldwide.
Entering Politics
Paloma Adrados then decided to join politics. She became a member of the Popular Party (PP). From 1997 to 1999, she worked as an advisor to Javier Arenas. At that time, he was the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in Spain.
In 1999, she was elected as a regional deputy for the Assembly of Madrid. A deputy is like a representative who helps make laws for a specific region. She also became the first secretary of the assembly's board.
Leadership Roles
In June 2007, Paloma Adrados was chosen by Esperanza Aguirre to lead the Ministry of Employment and Women. This was part of the Government of the Community of Madrid.
In 2011, she ran for mayor of Pozuelo de Alarcón. She won with a large number of votes in the May 2011 elections. She officially became mayor on 11 June 2011.
In 2015, she ran for mayor of Pozuelo again. She also ran in the regional elections for the Madrid Assembly. Her party lost some seats in the local election. Even though her party still had the most votes, Paloma Adrados decided not to continue as mayor. Instead, she chose to become the president of the Assembly of Madrid. She held this important position until 2019.
