Pamela Cortes is a talented Ecuadorian singer, actress, and dancer. She started her journey in music and dance at a very young age. Today, she is well-known for her amazing performances and songs.

Early Life and Education

Pamela Cortes was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, on January 9, 1981. She began studying music and dancing when she was just seven years old. Her family, including her mother, father, and two brothers, always supported her dreams of becoming an entertainer.

Career

Pamela's artistic journey began early. She took music and dance classes at the Conservatory Antonio Neumane and the Danzas Jazz Academy in Guayaquil. In 1992, she won first place in a singing contest called "Los niños cantan a America."

A year later, in 1993, Pamela was chosen as "La Paquita Ecuatoriana." This led her to create and host her own TV show, El Rincon de los bajitos. In 1994, she released her first music album, titled Alegria. She also took part in "Sabado Gigante," another singing contest.

Two years later, in 1996, Pamela released her second album, Mas alla del sol. This album made her very famous. In the same year, Cortes acted in a play called Romeo and Juliet, produced in Ecuador. She also helped raise money for children in need by participating in "Teleton de Costa Rica."

In 1999, she went to Miami to study Music Business. She returned to Ecuador in 2000 and released her third album, Con el alma. This album became popular in Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, and Peru. That same year, she acted in several plays, including Besame Tonto, Mis primas, and El hombre de la mancha.

In 2004, Pamela released her fourth album, Esperare. She also performed the song "Te Amo" with Franco de Vita during his concert in Coliseo Ruminahui in 2007. Pamela is currently working on her fifth album. She also works on a TV variety program. She is married to David Harutyunyan, who is a musician and director of the symphonic orchestra of Guayaquil. They have a son named Max.
