Estanislau de Figueiredo Pamplona, known simply as Pamplona, was a talented Brazilian football player. He was born in Belém, Pará State, on March 24, 1904. Pamplona played as an offensive midfielder, helping his teams score goals and control the game. He passed away on October 29, 1973, at 69 years old.

Pamplona's Club Career

Pamplona played football for several clubs between 1922 and 1935. He started his career at Remo. In 1923, he moved to Fluminense.

Playing for Botafogo

Pamplona spent most of his career, from 1924 to 1935, playing for Botafogo. This was a very successful time for him. With Botafogo, he won the Campeonato Carioca, which is a major football championship in Rio de Janeiro, three times.
