Pandamonium was a fun American animated TV show that aired on CBS! It was a Saturday morning cartoon series from the 1980s. This show was special because it was the first cartoon from MGM Television that wasn't about Tom and Jerry. It only ran for 13 weeks, but it took viewers on a big adventure!
The Story of Pandamonium
The series begins with an evil alien named Mondraggor. He tries to steal a very old and powerful object called the Pyramid of Power. But during his attempt, the pyramid breaks into many pieces! These pieces scatter all over the world.
Every week, Mondraggor races against two human siblings, Peter and Peggy Darrow. They are joined by three talking pandas: Chesty, Timothy, and Algernon. These pandas got their special ability to talk from the Pyramid's magic. The coolest part? These three pandas can combine to form a super-being called Poppapanda! Poppapanda has amazing supernatural powers.
Mondraggor is powerful in the air, controlling wind, fire, thunder, and lightning. But on Earth, most of his powers disappear. He can only control people's minds. He uses this power to trick people while trying to find the pyramid pieces.
The show lasted for only one season. The heroes didn't find all the pieces of the Pyramid of Power. However, they did collect enough pieces to use some of its power when they really needed it!
