Panther Pond is special because it connects to two other lakes. One connection is to the much larger Sebago Lake. This link is made by a small waterway called Panther Run. There is a dam between these two lakes. It opens once a year to let different kinds of fish swim freely between them. Panther Pond also connects to Crescent Lake. This connection happens through the Tenny River.
