Panuganti Lakshmi Narasimharao (Telugu: పానుగంటి లక్ష్మీ నరసింహా రావు) was a very famous modern Telugu writer. He was born on February 11, 1865, and passed away on January 1, 1940. He was born in a place called Seetanagaram, near Rajamundry in Andhra Pradesh, India.
After finishing his studies, he became a teacher at Peddapuram High School. Later, he moved to Pithapuram. There, he became the 'Asthana Kavi' for the Pithapuram Rajah's kingdom. This means he was a special poet or writer for the king.
Panuganti Lakshmi Narasimharao made essays very popular in Telugu writing. People often called him "Andhra Shakespeare" because he was so good at writing plays. He was also known as "Andhra Edison," showing how creative and innovative he was. Another honor he received was 'Abhinava Kalidas,' given to him by Venkata Sastry. He was one of three famous writers of his time. These three were Chilakamarthy Lakshmi Narasimham, Koochi Narasimham, and Panuganti Lakshmi Narasimham. They were known together as 'Simha Trayam,' which means 'Trio of Lions.'

- Radhakrishna (1904): This play tells a story based on the ideas of Gaudiya Vaishnavism. It shows how Radha's simple devotion (bhakti) grows into a very deep and strong love. This kind of love is usually linked only to Radha by religious scholars. The play aimed to show Radha as Krishna's partner in Goloka, which is like a heaven. The wise Sage Narada helps to start and move the story forward in this play.
