Paola Paggi is a famous former volleyball player from Italy. She was born on December 6, 1976, in Ivrea, a town in Piedmont. Paola was a key player for the Italian national team. She even represented her country in two Summer Olympics, starting in the year 2000. One of her biggest achievements was helping Italy win the 2002 FIVB Women's World Championship in Germany. She officially stopped playing professional volleyball in 2018.

Early Career and Club Success
Paola played for several top volleyball clubs in Italy. She started with Volley Vicenza in 1996. Later, she joined Volley Bergamo in 2002. With these clubs, she gained a lot of experience and became a very skilled player.
Winning the CEV Cup
In the 2008–09 season, Paola played for Asystel Novara. During this time, her team won the CEV Cup. This was a big win for her club! Paola was also recognized for her individual talent. She was given the "Best Blocker" award for her amazing defensive plays.
Playing for the National Team
Paola made her first appearance for the Italian national team in 1999. She played against Cuba. Her most memorable moment with the national team was winning the World Championship in 2002.
