Paresh Shivalkar (born in 1981) is an Indian football player. He is currently the Head Coach of the Maharashtra Men's senior football team.

Playing Career
Paresh Shivalkar started his football journey playing for Sky Hawks. This was a local team in his area. He was chosen for national trials for players under 19 and under 21. These trials were held by Maharashtra, but he did not make it into the final team.
Joining Professional Teams
Paresh then moved to Mumbai. There, he signed with Gulf Oil, a team in the second division. While playing in the Mumbai Football League, he caught the eye of Bimal Ghosh. Ghosh was the coach for Air India FC. He was very impressed with Paresh's football skills. Because of this, Paresh was signed to play for Air India FC for two seasons.
In 2005, Paresh joined Churchill Brothers S.C.. The very next season, he returned to play for Air India FC. He also played for other well-known clubs like Mahindra United, Pune F.C., Mumbai Tigers F.C., and Mumbai F.C..
Representing His State and Country
Paresh Shivalkar has played for Maharashtra many times. He represented the state in the National Games. He also played in the Santosh Trophy nine times. He was even the captain of the Maharashtra team three times. Paresh also had the honor of representing the Indian Senior National Team.
Coaching Journey
After a successful playing career, Paresh Shivalkar moved into coaching. He has earned several important coaching licenses. These include the AIFF D license, AFC C license, and AFC B license. He also completed a FIFA Youth Coaching course.
Important Coaching Roles
Paresh has held many important roles in football coaching. He was the Chief Scout for Reliance Foundation Young Champs in the Maharashtra region. This means he helped find talented young players.
He has also been a selector for various teams. He helped choose players for the senior Maharashtra Santosh Trophy team in 2020. He was also a selector for the Khelo India Youth Games in 2019.
Paresh has served as an Assistant Coach for Maharashtra in the Santosh Trophy in 2019. Later, he became a Head Coach. He was the Head Coach for Maharashtra in the Khelo India Youth Games in 2020. He also led the Maharashtra team in the National Games in Goa in 2023. Most recently, he was the Head Coach for Maharashtra in the Santosh Trophy for the 2023-24 season.
