Parkville's Location and Size
Parkville covers an area of about 4.2 square miles (11.1 square kilometers), and all of it is land. The northern edge of Parkville is marked by Interstate 695, which is also called the Baltimore Beltway. This highway runs from Loch Raven Boulevard to Putty Hill Avenue.
The eastern boundary is generally where Putty Hill Avenue turns into Rossville Boulevard. To the south, Parkville borders Baltimore City, along the line between Baltimore City and Baltimore County. This southern border stretches from near Glen Road to Loch Raven Boulevard. Finally, the western boundary follows Loch Raven Boulevard, from the city line up to Interstate 695.
