The Parque Marítimo del Mediterráneo is a super cool leisure park in Ceuta, a Spanish city right next to Morocco. It's like a giant playground covering 55,000 square meters! This park is special because it has three big saltwater lakes. These lakes get their water directly from the sea. They are perfect for swimming during the warm summer months.

Besides the lakes, the park is full of beautiful gardens. You'll also find pretty waterfalls and sunny spots to relax. There's even a stage for concerts and shows. Plus, there are lots of fun places to eat and hang out. You can find bars, restaurants, pubs, a casino, and even a nightclub here.


Who Designed This Amazing Park?

This awesome park was designed by a famous artist from Lanzarote, named César Manrique. He was a very creative person. The park opened in 1995, which was almost three years after he passed away.

Manrique designed another similar park before this one. It's called Parque Marítimo César Manrique in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife. He designed that one about 20 years earlier.

What's Special About the Park?

Right in the middle of the park, there's a really unique building. It looks just like the old Royal Walls of Ceuta and the San Felipe moat. This cool building is home to the casino, a nightclub, and a restaurant.
