Pashupati Sharma is a very popular folk singer from Nepal. He was born on October 31, 1982, in a place called Putalibazar Municipality in Syangja District. He is famous for his beautiful voice and for singing many traditional Nepali folk songs.

Pashupati Sharma moved to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, in 2003. He wanted to study more and also follow his dream of becoming a singer. He started singing at a club called Saptakoshi Dohori Sanjh. This is a special place where singers perform "dohori" songs, which are like musical conversations.
In 2003, he released his very first official song. Since then, Pashupati Sharma has sung more than 200 songs! His songs often talk about different things. Some of his songs are about loving his country, while others are about love between people. He also sings songs that use humor to talk about social issues.
