Patrice Amir Beaumelle, born on April 24, 1978, is a French football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Qatari football club Umm Salal. For much of his career, he worked closely with fellow French coach Hervé Renard as his assistant.

Coaching Journey
Patrice Beaumelle has had an exciting career in football coaching. He often worked alongside the well-known coach Hervé Renard.
Early Assistant Roles
In 2010, Beaumelle was an assistant coach for the Angola national team. He also served as an assistant to Renard at the Algerian club USM Alger in 2011.
Working with Zambia
Beaumelle was an assistant manager for the Zambia national team starting in 2011. When Hervé Renard left Zambia in 2013, Beaumelle took over as the main coach.
Moving to Ivory Coast
In July 2014, Hervé Renard became the manager of the Ivory Coast. Beaumelle then resigned from his role in Zambia to join Renard as his assistant in Ivory Coast. Later, in November 2020, Patrice Beaumelle was appointed as the head coach of the Ivory Coast national team. He led them until April 2022.
Recent Coaching Roles
From March 2023 to 2024, Beaumelle was the head coach of the Algerian club MC Alger. As of 2025, he is the head coach for Umm Salal in Qatar.
