Patrick Augustine Duggan (born 10 March 1934 – died 8 March 2022) was an Irish actor. He was known for his work in theatre and on television. Patrick Duggan also wrote books for children.
His Acting Journey
Patrick Duggan went to Belvedere College in Dublin. After school, he trained to be an actor at the Gate Theatre in Dublin. This is a famous theatre where many actors learn their skills.
He performed in many plays at the Gate Theatre. He also acted at the Abbey and Gaiety theatres. These are also well-known theatres in Dublin. Patrick Duggan also traveled around Ireland with different plays. This is called "touring" with productions.
Later, Patrick Duggan moved to London, England. He continued his theatre work there. He also started acting in television shows. Some of the popular shows he appeared in include Z-Cars, EastEnders, and Father Ted.
