Patrick Stevens is a famous retired sprinter from Belgium. He was born on January 31, 1968, in Leut. Patrick was a very fast runner, especially in the 200 metres race.

He won a bronze medal in the 200 metres at the European Championships in Helsinki in 1994. Later, in 2000, he won a silver medal in the 200 metres at the European Indoor Championships.

Patrick Stevens was chosen to represent Belgium in four Olympic Games in a row! His best Olympic performance was in Atlanta in 1996. He finished seventh in the 200 metres final, which was a very famous race won by Michael Johnson. Sadly, he couldn't compete at the Sydney 2000 Olympics because of an injury.

He also competed in four World Championships between 1993 and 1999. His best result there was finishing eighth in the 200 metres final in 1997.

Patrick Stevens has a daughter named Lauryn with British athlete Denise Lewis.
