Paul Hollywood's Pies and Puds was a fun British TV show about cooking. It first aired in November 2013 on BBC One. In each episode, the famous baker Paul Hollywood showed viewers how to make three delicious recipes. He also traveled around the United Kingdom to discover old, traditional recipes. The show explored the interesting stories behind these classic dishes. It was a treat for anyone who loves baking, especially pies and puddings!
Making the Show
This cooking show was created by the BBC. They wanted to bring Paul Hollywood's baking skills to daytime TV.
Filming Locations
Paul Hollywood traveled to many places to film the series. On August 28, 2013, he visited the Chippenham Pit Stop café. There, he cooked breakfast and even made pies using breakfast ingredients.
A few days later, on August 30, 2013, the BBC officially announced the show. They said it would have twenty episodes. In October 2013, Paul also filmed an episode in Botton, a village in North Yorkshire.
