Paula Campbell is an American R&B singer from Baltimore, Maryland. She became known after being a contestant on Baltimore Idol in 2003. She made it to the top 8 contestants in the competition.

After the show, she worked with DJ Rod Lee on a song called "How Does it Feel." It featured rapper Tim Trees and became very popular in her area. This success led to her first album, Who Got Next?, released in 2004. It reached number 92 on the Billboard R&B music charts. Paula Campbell has also opened for Kanye West and won a music contest from Glamour magazine.

Paula Campbell grew up in West Baltimore. She went to Frederick Douglass High School. Her first big chance came in 2003 on Baltimore Idol. She was one of the top 8 singers in the contest.

After Baltimore Idol, DJ Rod Lee from Baltimore radio station 92Q contacted Paula. They created the song "How Does it Feel" together. This song featured local rapper Tim Trees. It became a huge hit in Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Virginia. The song was number one for eight weeks straight.

In 2004, Paula released her first album, Who Got Next?. It was released on an independent company called Blakbyrd Music. The album reached number 92 on the Billboard R&B charts.

Music Career Highlights

Paula Campbell opened a show for famous artist Kanye West in Baltimore. She also sang on a remix of Fat Joe's song "Lean Back." This remix gained some attention across the country.
