Paulo Costanzo (born September 21, 1978) is a Canadian actor. He is well-known for playing many different characters in popular TV shows and movies. You might recognize him as Ax from the TV series Animorphs, or as Michael Tribbiani in the show Joey. He also played Evan R. Lawson in Royal Pains and Lyor Boone in Designated Survivor.

Early Life
Paulo Costanzo was born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. His mother is a talented singer and songwriter. His father is an artist with Italian family roots.
Acting Career
Paulo Costanzo started his acting journey in 1997. One of his first big roles was playing Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, also known as Ax, in the TV series Animorphs from 1998 to 1999. This show was about kids who could turn into animals.
In 2000, he starred in the comedy film Road Trip as Rubin Carver. The next year, he played Alexander Cabot in the movie Josie and the Pussycats.
A few years later, in 2004, Costanzo joined the cast of Joey. This show was a spin-off from the very popular series Friends. Paulo played Michael Tribbiani, who was Joey Tribbiani's nephew. He was a main character for both seasons of the show.
From 2009 to 2016, he had a main role in the USA Network series Royal Pains. He played Evan R. Lawson, who was the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) of a special medical service called HankMed.
In 2017, Costanzo joined the political drama Designated Survivor for its second season. He played Lyor Boone, the White House political director. This was another main role for him.
More recently, in 2022, Paulo Costanzo appeared in the second season of the comedy series Upload on Amazon. He played the character Matteo in this show.
