Main ingredients Peanut butter

Peach Blossoms were a unique candy that used to be made by a company called Necco. They were created at The New England Confectionery Co. in Revere, Massachusetts, in the United States. These candies were special because they had a yummy peanut butter center. This peanut butter was wrapped inside a crunchy, hard candy shell.

Even though they were called "Peach Blossoms" and had a peachy color, they didn't taste like peaches at all! The flavor was mostly from the peanut butter and other ingredients.

What Were Peach Blossoms Made Of?

Peach Blossoms were made from a mix of different ingredients. The main ones included sugar and corn syrup, which gave them their sweetness. Of course, there was also ground peanuts for the creamy peanut butter filling.

Other ingredients helped make the candy just right. These included salt for flavor, glycerine, and vanillin for a hint of vanilla. They also had artificial coloring to give them their distinctive look.

Why Did Peach Blossoms Disappear?

Sadly, Peach Blossoms are no longer made. In 2018, the company that made them, Necco, faced some financial difficulties. They decided to try and sell many of their candy brands, including Peach Blossoms.

However, no one came forward to buy the Peach Blossoms brand. Because of this, the candy stopped being produced. Many people who loved them miss these unique peanut butter candies.
