Pedro Armendáriz Bohr (born April 6, 1940 – died December 26, 2011), known as Pedro Armendáriz Jr., was a famous Mexican actor. He appeared in many movies and TV shows during his career.

Pedro Armendáriz Jr.'s Life and Career

Pedro Armendáriz Jr. was born in Mexico City, Mexico. His father, Pedro Armendáriz, was also a well-known actor. His mother was Carmelita Bohr Armendariz.

Pedro Armendáriz Jr. acted in many films. One of his most famous roles was in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989). He played President Hector Lopez in that film. Interestingly, his father had also been in an earlier James Bond movie, From Russia with Love.

He also appeared in other popular movies like Amistad (1997), The Mask of Zorro (1998), and Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). He often played important characters in both Mexican and Hollywood productions.

In November 2011, Pedro Armendáriz Jr. was diagnosed with eye cancer. He sadly passed away from the disease on December 26, 2011. He was 71 years old. He died in New York City. That night, the lights on Broadway were dimmed to honor him. This was a special tribute for a Mexican actor. His burial place is in Panteón Jardín Cemetery in Mexico City, next to his father.
