Pedro Hernández was a talented Spanish artist who lived a long time ago, from about 1585 to 1665. He was born and died in Salamanca, Spain. Pedro was a sculptor, which means he made amazing statues. He also drew and made engravings. He was part of the "Castilian school" of art, working at the same time as another famous artist, Gregorio Fernández. Most of his art was about religious topics.
