Pedro Urbina Montoya (born August 12, 1585 – died February 6, 1663) was an important leader in the Catholic Church in Spain. He was a member of the Order of Friars Minor, also known as the Franciscans. He served as an Archbishop in two major Spanish cities, Seville and Valencia. He was also a Bishop in Coria.

Early Life and Church Roles
Pedro Urbina Montoya was born in a town called Berantevilla, in Spain. This happened on August 12, 1585.
He became a priest on February 22, 1609. He joined the Order of Friars Minor, also known as the Franciscans.
Becoming a Bishop
On May 2, 1644, he was chosen to be the Bishop of Coria. This appointment was made during the time of Pope Urban VIII.
Later that year, on September 11, 1644, he officially became a bishop. This ceremony was led by Diego Arce Reinoso, who was the Bishop of Plasencia.
Archbishop of Valencia
On December 30, 1648, the King of Spain chose Pedro Urbina Montoya for a new role. He was confirmed by Pope Innocent X on June 28, 1649, to become the Archbishop of Valencia. He officially started this role on December 18, 1649.
Archbishop of Seville
On April 1, 1658, he was appointed to an even higher position. He became the Archbishop of Seville. This appointment happened during the time of Pope Alexander VII. He continued to serve as the Archbishop of Seville until he passed away on February 6, 1663.
