Peeples Valley is a small community in Yavapai County, Arizona, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it is an area defined for gathering population information. The Yavapai people, who are Native Americans from this region, call it Wachinivo. In 2020, about 499 people lived here.
Peeples Valley got its name from a man named A. H. Peeples. He was a prospector, which means he searched for valuable minerals like gold. In 1863, he led a group that found a lot of gold at a place called Rich Hill. This area is near Weaver, Arizona.

Education in Peeples Valley
Students in Peeples Valley attend schools in the Yarnell Elementary School District. This district operates a school called Model Creek School.
After finishing 8th grade, students usually go to Prescott High School. This high school is part of the Prescott Unified School District.
Before November 2018, students could choose between Prescott High School and Wickenburg High School. However, to help reduce taxes, the school board decided to remove the Wickenburg option.
For some time, the Peeples Valley School District did not have its own schools. Students from Peeples Valley were sent to the Yarnell district. On July 1, 1980, the Yarnell district officially took over the Peeples Valley district.
