In 2015, Peeter Volkonski decided to try something different. He ran as a candidate for the Free Party in the Estonian parliamentary election. This means he wanted to become a member of the Estonian parliament, which is like the country's main law-making group. He was a candidate for the Tartu area. He received 916 votes from people who supported him. However, this was not enough votes for him to win a seat in the parliament.
