Perry Traditional Academy, also known as Perry High School, is a high school in the Perry North area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It is one of ten high schools in the Pittsburgh Public Schools system. Perry High School first opened its doors in the 1922-1923 school year. For over 100 years, it has provided a great education to students from the Northside of Pittsburgh.

Perry Traditional Academy serves many neighborhoods in the Northside of Pittsburgh. These include Allegheny Center, Allegheny West, Brighton Heights, California-Kirkbride, Central Northside, Chateau, East Allegheny, Fineview, Manchester, Marshall-Shadeland (Brightwood), North Shore (Lower Northside), Northview Heights, Perry Hilltop, Perry North (Observatory Hill), Perry South, Spring Hill-City View, Spring Garden, Summer Hill, and Troy Hill.

School Mascot
The mascot for Perry Traditional Academy is the Commodore. This name honors Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry. There is a large mural of The Commodore facing the school. It was painted by The MLK Project. The design was created by Perry alumni Bill Gandy and Kimberley Robinson-Gandy.
Academics and Programs
Perry Traditional Academy teaches students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers three main programs:
- STEAM: This stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
- CTE: This is Career and Technical Education. It helps students learn skills for specific jobs.
- Military Science/JROTC: This program teaches leadership and citizenship.

Many successful people have graduated from Perry Traditional Academy. Here are a few:
- Glenn Beckert (class of 1958), a professional baseball player for the Chicago Cubs.
- Eddie Benton (class of 1992), a basketball player and coach.
- Ron Carter (class of 1975), a basketball player.
- Audie L. Chapman (class of 2000), a Robotics Engineer. He helped design NASA's Moon Lunar Lander in 2020.
