Peter Bence (born September 5, 1991) is an amazing Hungarian pianist, composer, and music producer. He is super popular for his awesome piano versions of songs by artists like Michael Jackson, Queen, and Sia. His videos, including his famous "Despacito" cover, have been watched over 500 million times online! You can find his cool music on his YouTube channel and Facebook page.

Peter studied music at the Berklee College of Music in the United States. From 2012 to 2017, he even held a Guinness World Record! He hit piano keys 765 times in just one minute, which is super fast!

Peter Bence's Early Life and Music

Peter Bence started playing the piano when he was very young. By age 7, he had already written his first original song! This song was inspired by famous composers like Mozart and Chopin.

In 2002, when he was 11, Peter released his first solo piano album. It was called Green Music and featured his early songs. Later, in 2008, he released his second album, Nightfall. Many pianists asked for the sheet music to his song Piano Piece Based on Fibonacci Sequence.

People thought Peter was a musical genius, or a "prodigy." He was accepted into a music university in Hungary while he was still in elementary school!

Discovering Film Music

As a teenager, Peter became very interested in music from movies. He especially loved the music of John Williams, who wrote scores for films like Star Wars. This new interest opened up a whole new world of musical ideas for Peter.

After studying classical piano and composition in Hungary, Peter went to the Berklee College of Music in the United States. He studied film scoring and piano there. Even though he learned about many types of music, Michael Jackson became his biggest influence.

Peter Bence's Rise to Fame

In January 2012, Peter achieved a Guinness World Record. He hit piano keys 765 times in one minute! He held this record until March 2017.

While he was at Berklee, Peter started uploading videos to YouTube. In 2015, his piano version of Michael Jackson's "Bad" quickly made him famous. That video got 10 million views in just a few days!

Today, Peter has over 500 million video views combined on Facebook and YouTube. In the last two years alone, he has performed for thousands of people in 40 different countries. He even opened BBC's Proms in the Park in London for 50,000 people in 2017! Peter has also been featured on popular shows and websites like The Ellen DeGeneres Show, BBC, Buzzfeed, and Billboard.

He is currently working on his first official album. It will include some of his best song covers and his own piano compositions. Peter also won first prize in an international competition called InterArtia 2015 for Pop Piano.
