Peter Bence (born September 5, 1991) is a talented Hungarian pianist, composer, and music producer. He became very popular for his amazing piano versions of songs by artists like Michael Jackson, Queen, Sia, and "Despacito". His videos have been watched over 500 million times on YouTube and Facebook! His most popular video is his energetic performance of "Despacito."

Peter studied film music and electronic production at the Berklee College of Music from 2010 to 2015. He also held a Guinness World Record for hitting the most piano keys in one minute (765 times) between 2012 and 2017.

Peter Bence: A Piano Star

Peter Bence started playing the piano when he was very young. He wrote his first song at age 7, inspired by famous composers like Mozart and Chopin.

His Early Music Journey

In 2002, when he was 11, Peter released his first piano album called Green Music. He released his second album, Nightfall, in 2008. Many pianists asked for the sheet music to his song Piano Piece Based on Fibonacci Sequence, which he played in 2009. Teachers and other musicians thought he was a musical genius. He was even accepted into a music university while still in elementary school!

As a teenager, Peter became very interested in music from movies, especially the work of John Williams. This opened up a whole new world of music for him to explore.

Studying and Finding His Style

After learning classical piano and composition in Hungary, Peter went to the Berklee College of Music in the United States. He studied film music and piano there. He loved all kinds of music, but Michael Jackson became his biggest inspiration.

In January 2012, Peter set a Guinness World Record for hitting the most piano keys in one minute. He hit 765 keys, holding the record until March 2017.

Becoming a YouTube Sensation

While at Berklee, Peter started uploading videos to YouTube. In 2015, his piano version of Michael Jackson's "Bad" quickly made him famous. It got 10 million views in just a few days! Now, his videos have over 500 million total views on Facebook and YouTube.

In the past two years, Peter has performed for thousands of people in 40 different countries. He even opened the BBC's Proms in the Park in 2017, playing for 50,000 people in London. He has also been featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show's website, BBC, Buzzfeed, and Billboard. He is currently working on his first album, which will include his best covers and original piano songs.

In 2015, he won first prize in the Pop Piano category at the InterArtia international competition in Greece.
