Peter Exley is an architect who loves to design places that are fun for everyone, especially kids! He was born in Harrogate, England, on August 2, 1964. He is the co-founder of a company called Architecture Is Fun, Inc. This company is based in Chicago, USA.
His company has designed many cool places. These include the DuPage Children's Museum and the Exploration Station children's museum. He also helped design the Young at Art Museum's exhibits in Florida. Another big project was a large Ronald McDonald House in Illinois. Early Life and Education
Peter Exley studied architecture at two different universities. In 1985, he earned a special degree from Newcastle University in England. He then went to the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. There, he earned his Master of Architecture degree in 1990.
Before starting his own company, he worked for some famous architecture firms. These included Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago and London. He also worked with Venturi, Scott Brown and Associates in Philadelphia.

In 1994, Peter Exley started his own company, Architecture Is Fun. He co-founded it with his partner and wife, Sharon Exley. Their work focuses on creating spaces that are playful and engaging. They believe that architecture can be fun and inspiring.
