His Amazing Sports Journey
During World War II, Peter was seriously injured. Doctors even thought he might never walk again. But Peter was determined! He worked hard to get strong again. He competed in over 1,500 sports events, including horse riding and modern pentathlon. He did incredibly well, placing high in 1,200 of these competitions! He even participated in 24 major championships, like the World Championships and European Championships.

Peter Lichtner-Hoyer was so talented that he competed in the Olympic Games twice!
