Peter Stefanovic is a well-known Australian journalist and TV presenter. He helps host a show called First Edition on Sky News Australia. Before this, he worked on other popular shows like Weekend Today and Nine News. He even reported for the famous current affairs show 60 Minutes.
Peter's TV Journey
Peter started his TV career in 2002 at a channel called WIN Television. He reported for WIN News in places like Rockhampton and Canberra.
In 2004, Peter joined the Nine Network. He worked as a reporter for Nine News and A Current Affair. Later, he became a foreign correspondent, which means he reported news from other countries. He was based in Nine's offices in Los Angeles and London.
After many years of reporting from overseas, Peter came back to Australia in 2015. He became a senior reporter and presenter for Nine News. Peter also wrote a book about his experiences as a foreign correspondent. It's called Hack in a Flak Jacket: Dispatches from an Aussie Foreign Correspondent and was published in 2016.
In 2016, Peter became a co-host of Weekend Today with Deborah Knight. He hosted this show until 2017. Then, he moved to 60 Minutes to fill in for Allison Langdon while she was on maternity leave.
Peter returned to Weekend Today in January 2018, hosting again with Allison Langdon. In December 2018, it was announced that Peter would be leaving the Nine Network after 15 years.
In May 2019, Peter joined Sky News Australia. He became a co-host of First Edition alongside Laura Jayes.

Peter was born in Darlinghurst, New South Wales. His father is Serbian-German, and his mother is Australian. Peter is the third of four children. His older brother, Karl Stefanovic, is also a well-known TV host on the show Today. He also has an older sister and a younger brother named Tom.
