The Story of Petersville
Petersville has a short but interesting history. A long time ago, in 1873, a post office was opened here. This was a very important place for people to send and receive letters and packages.
The post office served the community for many years. However, it eventually closed down in 1900. Petersville was named after the person who founded it, a man named Peter T. Blessing.
