Pierre Vogel was born on July 20, 1978. He is a German Islamic preacher and used to be a professional boxer. He is also known by the name Abu Hamza.
Early Life and Boxing Career
Pierre Vogel was born in a town called Frechen in Germany. When he was 22 years old, he started his career as a professional boxer. For two years, he fought as a cruiserweight boxer for the Sauerland club. During his boxing career, he had seven fights and was never defeated. He won six of his fights and had one draw.
Conversion to Islam
In 2001, Pierre Vogel decided to convert to Islam. Soon after, he began taking classes to learn more about Islamic studies in Germany. Later, he continued his studies in Medina. Many people consider him to be one of the most important Muslim figures in Germany.
Personal Life
Pierre Vogel is married to a woman from Morocco who is also Muslim. They have three children together.
