Pinchers' Music Journey

Pinchers started his music career when he was a teenager. His first album was released in Jamaica by Blue Trac Records. In 1985, he briefly moved to the UK.

Early Hits and Rise to Fame

In 1986, Pinchers had his first big hits. These songs included "Borrow No Gun," "Abrakabra," "Eat Man," and "Jailhouse Hot." He worked with famous producers like King Jammy on these tracks.

Pinchers became even more famous with his hit song "Agony." This song was also the title track of his album, which was produced by King Jammy. In the same year, he recorded another album called Mass Out. This album was produced by Philip "Fatis" Burrell and featured talented musicians like Sly & Robbie, Jackie Mittoo, and Robbie Lyn.

Signature Songs and Continued Success

In 1990, Pinchers released "Bandelero," which became one of his most well-known songs. This song was even featured in the movie Shottas. He continued to release popular songs throughout the mid-1990s. Some of these hits included "Carpenter," "Send Another One Come," and "Venti Uno," which he sang with Bounty Killer.

Pinchers still records new music and performs concerts today. He is known for wearing amazing outfits on stage. He once shared that his stage name, Pinchers, was inspired by other Jamaican artists from the 1980s. These artists had names like Pliers, Screwdriver, and Tenor Saw, which were all names of carpentry tools.

In January 2015, Pinchers was involved in an incident in Queenborough, Jamaica. He was hit in his left arm, breaking two bones, but he recovered.
