Tool facts for kids
Tools are objects that help us do things more easily. They have been around for a very long time and have changed a lot. The first tools were made by early humans during the Stone Age and Bronze Age. Over many years, people have invented countless new and more complex tools.
We use many different tools every day. Some common examples include a hammer, a wrench (also called a spanner), saws, and a shovel. Even simple items like knives, pens, and pencils are tools. Early humans used basic tools like a bludgeon (a stick or rock used to hit things) and the knife. As humans became smarter, they created more advanced tools like the telephone and the computer.
