Pioneer MRT Station is a train station in Singapore. It is part of Singapore's Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, which helps people travel around the city quickly.

Even though it's called 'Pioneer Station,' it's not actually located in the Pioneer area. Instead, it got its name from a major road nearby called Pioneer Road North. This station is super helpful for students and staff because it's the closest MRT station to Nanyang Technological University (NTU), one of Singapore's big universities.

Special Features of Pioneer Station

Pioneer MRT Station has a unique feature: a special screen along one side of its tracks. This screen helps to keep things private for the people living in homes very close to the station. It's one of only two above-ground MRT stations in Singapore that has this kind of privacy screen. The other station with a similar screen is Marsiling MRT station.
