Piret Järvis, born on February 6, 1984, in Tallinn, is a well-known Estonian television host. She is also a talented singer, guitarist, and songwriter. Many people know her from the popular rock band Vanilla Ninja.

Early Life and Education
Piret grew up with her older sister and younger brother. Her parents are Maire and Enno Järvis. After finishing high school, she went to International University of Concordia. There, she studied Media and Public Relations. Later, she continued her studies in journalism at the University of Tartu.
Music Career with Vanilla Ninja
Piret was one of the four original members who started the band Vanilla Ninja in 2002. She helped the band become famous in Estonia by writing the lyrics for their song "Club Kung Fu." She also wrote lyrics for many other Vanilla Ninja songs. Some of these include "Birds Of Peace," "I Don't Care at All," and "Black Symphony."
Even though she started in a more background role, Piret became very important for the band's 2005 album, Blue Tattoo. This happened after the band's former lead singer, Maarja Kivi, left in 2004. Piret often spoke for the group during interviews. She was also known for being very stylish.
Television Work
Piret Järvis has worked for several Estonian TV channels since 2002. She has been on channels like TV3, MTV Eesti, and MTV Baltics. Currently, she works as a host and journalist for Eesti Rahvusringhääling. She has hosted many popular shows. These include Pealtnägija, Eesti Laul, Jõulutunnel, and Terevisioon.
Eurovision Connection
In 2011, Piret Järvis announced Estonia's votes during the Eurovision Song Contest. Her announcement helped confirm that Azerbaijan won the competition for the first time.
