Piret Järvis (born February 6, 1984, in Tallinn, Estonia) is a well-known Estonian TV host and a talented singer, guitarist, and songwriter. She is famous for being a member of the popular rock band Vanilla Ninja.

Early Life and Education
Piret Järvis was born to Maire and Enno Järvis. She has an older sister and a younger brother. After finishing high school, Piret studied Media and Public Relations at the International University of Concordia. Later, she continued her studies in journalism at the University of Tartu.
Music Career
Joining Vanilla Ninja
Piret was one of the four members who started the band Vanilla Ninja in 2002. She wrote the lyrics for the song "Club Kung Fu." This song helped Vanilla Ninja become very popular in Estonia.
Songwriting and Role in the Band
Piret continued to write lyrics for many of the band's songs. Some of these include "Birds Of Peace," "I Don't Care at All," and "Black Symphony."
At first, Piret played more of a background role in the group. However, her role became much bigger on their 2005 album Blue Tattoo. This happened after Maarja Kivi, the band's former lead singer, left in 2004. Piret often spoke for the group in interviews. She was also often called the best-looking and most stylish member of the band.
Eurovision Song Contest
In 2011, Piret Järvis announced Estonia's votes in the Eurovision Song Contest. Her announcement helped confirm that Azerbaijan had won the competition for the first time.
Television Career
Piret has worked for different Estonian TV channels since 2002. These channels include TV3, MTV Eesti, and MTV Baltics.
She is currently a host and a journalist at the Eesti Rahvusringhääling, which is Estonia's public broadcasting company. She has hosted many popular shows. Some of these shows are Pealtnägija, Eesti Laul, Jõulutunnel, and Terevisioon.
