Podopteryx is a special group, or genus, of very large damselflies. These amazing insects live in warm places like Indonesia, New Guinea, and Australia.
They belong to a bigger group of damselflies called the Megapodagrionidae family. This family is often known as "flatwings" because of how these damselflies hold their wings flat when they are resting.
