Pol Montañés Enrich was born in Barcelona, Spain, on July 22, 1994.
He uses the stage name Pol Monen. This name combines parts of his two family names: 'Montañés' and 'Enrich'. Pol first appeared in a movie called La Mala Educación in 2004. He was only 10 years old then. His first TV role was in 2005 on the show El cor de la ciutat on TV3. When he was 18, he moved to Madrid. There, he studied journalism and trained to be an actor with Juan Carlos Corazza.
His Acting Career
Pol Monen had a main role as Carlos in the 2017 romantic drama film Amar: With You Until the End of the World. This role earned him a nomination for the Goya Award for Best New Actor at the 32nd Goya Awards. The Goya Awards are very important film awards in Spain. In 2018, he joined the cast of the TV series La Reina del Sur (season 2). This show is available on Telemundo and Netflix.
In 2019, he starred as Eze in Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island?. He also played Said in the movie So My Grandma's a Lesbian!. In 2020, he had a main role in the TV series Campamento Albanta. This show was released on Atresplayer Premium.
