Poland Center is a small place in Mahoning County, Ohio. It's called an "unincorporated community" because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Instead, it's part of the larger county area.
A Look Back: Poland Center's History
Poland Center has a long history. One of the first buildings there was a schoolhouse. It was built way back in 1833. Later, a post office opened in 1852. It was named Poland Centre. This post office helped people send and receive mail. However, it only stayed open for a few years. It closed down in 1858.
