Pooch Hall is an American actor and model. He was born on February 8, 1976. He is well-known for playing Derwin Davis, a football player, in the TV show The Game. He also played Ricky in the 2011 movie Jumping the Broom. Another important role for him was Daryll Donovan in the TV drama Ray Donovan.
In 2016, Pooch Hall played the famous boxer Muhammad Ali in the movie Chuck. This film was about Ali's opponent, Chuck Wepner, and their boxing match in 1975.

Early Life and Boxing
Pooch Hall's full name is Marion H. Hall, Jr. His parents are Marion and Cindy Hall. He grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts. He went to Brockton High School.
Pooch Hall was also a boxer. In 1994, he won the Southern New England Golden Gloves boxing competition. He later attended the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. There, he started acting with the university's theater group.
Acting Career Highlights
Pooch Hall began his career by appearing in commercials and working as a model. His first acting role was in the 2001 movie Lift. In the same year, he was in the film Blue Hill Avenue.
In 2003, he helped host a reality TV show called Girls v. Boys. He played Ty'ree in the TV mini-series Miracle's Boys in 2005. The next year, he got the role of Derwin Davis in The Game. This role made him very popular. He also appeared in a music video for the song "What You Do" by Chrisette Michele.
Pooch Hall had a repeating role on the CBS show Accidentally on Purpose from 2009 to 2010. He later joined the cast of the TV series Ray Donovan. He made guest appearances in the final seasons of The Game. In 2015, he was cast in the movie A Dog's Purpose.

Pooch Hall met his wife, Linda, in 1996. They got married in 1999. They have four children together.
