Porsha Dyanne Williams (born June 22, 1981) is an American television personality, singer, actress, and activist. She is well-known for starring on the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She was on the show from 2012 to 2021 and returned in 2024. Porsha also had her own spin-off series called Porsha's Family Matters. From 2013 to 2021, she was a co-host on the show Dish Nation. In 2020, she also co-hosted Bravo's Chat Room.
In 2014, Porsha released her first song, "Flatline." Later, in 2021, she wrote a book about her life called The Pursuit of Porsha.

Early Life and Education
Porsha Williams was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 22, 1981. Her parents were both entrepreneurs, meaning they owned their own businesses. She has a younger half-sister named Lauren and a brother named Hosea. Porsha's grandfather was Hosea Williams, a famous civil rights activist.
As a teenager, Porsha went to Southwest Dekalb High School. After high school, she studied business information technology at the American InterContinental University.

Starting Her Career
In 2005, when Porsha was 24 years old, she opened a daycare center. She said her parents' careers inspired her to start her own business. In the same year, she also worked as a model for a calendar called "Atlanta Dymes."
Porsha met football player Kordell Stewart in 2009. They got married in May 2011. Their wedding was even shown on a TV show called Platinum Weddings. They later divorced in 2013.

In September 2012, it was announced that Porsha Williams would join the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for its fifth season. This show made her a well-known TV personality.
During her time on the show, Porsha also explored other interests. In March 2014, she released her first song, "Flatline," which was available on iTunes.
In 2016, Porsha joined another TV show as a contestant. She participated in The New Celebrity Apprentice, where celebrities compete in business challenges.

Personal Life
Porsha Williams was married to Kordell Stewart from 2011 to 2013. She was also engaged to Dennis McKinley from 2018 to 2020. They have one daughter together, Pilar Jhena, who was born in March 2019.
Porsha married Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia in November 2022. They had both a traditional Nigerian wedding and a traditional American wedding. In February 2024, Porsha filed for divorce from Simon.
