Isaiah Faber (born March 31, 1999), known by his stage name Powfu, is a Canadian artist. He is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. His father is Dave Faber, who is part of the band Faber Drive. Powfu became very popular after releasing his song "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)". This song featured the artist Beabadoobee and became a big hit.

Powfu's Music Journey

In February 2020, Powfu released his song "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)". This song used a part of Beabadoobee's first song, "Coffee". The song quickly became super popular on the video-sharing app TikTok. It has been streamed over 1.8 billion times on Spotify as of February 2025. The song also reached number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100 music chart.

After the song became a huge success, Powfu signed with Columbia Records in the United States. He also signed with Robots + Humans in the United Kingdom. "Death Bed" was included on his EP (Extended Play) called Poems of the Past, which came out on May 29, 2020.

On December 2, 2022, Powfu released his first full-length album. It was titled Surrounded by Hounds and Serpents. This album even included his own version of Taylor Swift's song "Mine". Powfu explained in an interview that the album title talks about finding people who are not truly supportive. He said it's about spotting those who might only be interested in him for the wrong reasons.
