History of Prattville

Prattville began in 1873 when Helaman Pratt guided a group of people to settle this part of Utah. He was also the first leader of the local church group there. However, the settlement did not last very long. By 1878, most of the families had moved away. The local church group was also officially closed that same year. This means Prattville became what is known as a ghost town.
