Prebbleton is a small, growing town in New Zealand. It is located in the Selwyn District of the Canterbury Region. The town is about 11 kilometers (7 miles) southwest of Christchurch city center. It is also close to the industrial suburb of Hornby.

Prebbleton has a long history, dating back to 1855. This makes it one of the very first settlements on the Canterbury Plains.
