The Premier of Anguilla is the main leader of the government in Anguilla. Anguilla is a special territory that belongs to the United Kingdom. The Premier is chosen by the Governor of Anguilla. This choice is made on behalf of King Charles III, who is the monarch of the United Kingdom.
Before 2019, this important job was called the Chief Minister of Anguilla. A new law, the Anguilla Constitution (Amendment) Order 2019, changed the name to Premier. This change happened on May 14, 2019.
The person who is currently the Premier is Cora Richardson-Hodge.

Leaders of Anguilla
Chief Ministers (1976–2019)
Anguilla's top leader was known as the Chief Minister for many years. The first person to hold this role was Ronald Webster. He started in February 1976.
Other important leaders followed, like Emile Gumbs and Hubert Hughes. These leaders helped guide Anguilla through different times. They were chosen in elections by the people of Anguilla.
Premiers (2019–Present)
In May 2019, the title changed from Chief Minister to Premier. Victor Banks was the first person to be called Premier. He had also been the last Chief Minister.
After Victor Banks, Ellis Webster became the Premier in June 2020. He served until February 2025.
The current Premier, Cora Richardson-Hodge, took office on February 27, 2025. She is the third person to hold the title of Premier.
