Preston's Story
Preston has a short but interesting history! A long time ago, in 1880, a special building called a post office opened here. People could send and receive letters and packages from this post office. It helped the community stay connected.
However, the post office eventually closed. It stopped operating in 1920. The community of Preston was named after an early settler. His name was Matthew Preston. He was one of the first people to live in this area.
