Puerto Almanza is a small village located in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. It sits right on the northern shore of the Beagle Channel. This village is special because it's the southernmost village in Argentina!
Puerto Almanza is found at coordinates 54°52′21.74″S 67°34′36.85″W. It's about 3 kilometers west of another small place called Almirante Brown. Across the water, you can see the Chilean port of Puerto Williams.

What is Puerto Almanza Like?
Puerto Almanza is mostly a quiet spot. It's a popular resting place for fishermen who work in the Beagle Channel. It also serves as a way to reach some local farms, called ranches, in Tierra del Fuego. Sometimes, when the weather is very bad, roads can get cut off. Puerto Almanza then becomes an important access point.

If you want to visit Puerto Almanza by road, you would start your journey from Ushuaia.
Driving Directions from Ushuaia
First, you drive east on 'Ruta Nacional 3' for about 71 kilometers. This is a main national road. After that, you turn onto road 'J'. This road takes you back down towards the Beagle Channel. Finally, you continue west on road 'K' for about 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Puerto Almanza!
