Puerto de Vega is a beautiful coastal town in northern Spain. It is one of eight parishes, or small administrative areas, within the larger municipality of Navia. This charming place is part of the Asturias region, known for its green landscapes and rugged coastline.
In 1995, Puerto de Vega received a very special honor. It won the Prince of Asturias Award for being an "Exemplary Town of Asturias." This award celebrates towns that show great community spirit and work hard to preserve their culture and environment.
