Navia is a small area in the Principality of Asturias, Spain. It is a type of local government area called a municipality. Navia is located right on the Cantabrian Sea, which is part of the Atlantic Ocean.
This area shares its borders with other municipalities. To the south, you'll find Villayón. To the east, it borders Valdés, and to the west, it's next to Coaña. The name Navia is also used for a smaller local area called a parish and for a village within the municipality.
The Navia River is an important river that flows through this municipality.
